It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Holst of Rochester, Minnesota, who passed away on August 16, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Holst (Stoltz) and Robert Holst; his parents-in-law, Jean and Philip Green; his sister Faith; his siblings-in-law, Dick Crist, Jon Green (Sylvia), Bruce Green, Tom Green, Patricia Southard and Mary Holst; and his son-in-law Harmon Zylstra.
He is survived by: his wife Norma of Rochester; his children, Jay Holst (Robin) of Plainview, Amy Brundell (Gene) of Sioux Center, IA and Jenny Schumacher (Michael) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Annie Henderson (Austin Jevne), Ashley Holst, Alise Holst, Nick Brundell (Afton), Jack Brundell (Ashley), Alec Schumacher (Sarah) and Allison Schumacher; and his siblings, Kent Holst of Anoka and Betty Green of Brainerd. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Mayo Clinic Hospice.
