He is survived by: his wife Mara (Mara) of Rochester, MN; his children, Emma Jirele Sandhurst (Parker) of Crystal, MN and Matthew Jirele (Porscha McClanahan) of Albert Lea, MN; and his siblings, Julianne Holst (Mike) of Rochester, MN, Tom Jirele (Laura) of Richboro, PA and Connie Bird (Larry Howe) of Cedar Rapids, IA.
