He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wehrs and Nora Wehrs Jr. (Schacht); his wife Arlene Polikowsky; his children, Michael, Roger and Judy; and his siblings, Vern, Muriel Kuhlmann and Nilva Welke.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jerilyn Ramsey of Claremore, OK., Janet Zarling (Charles) of Rochester, Cynthia Burmeister (Robert) of Tulsa, OK. and Charlene Smith of Palmer, TX.; his grandchildren, Christina Bump (Jeremy), Timothy Ramsey (Nesha), Sam Ramsey (Cindy), Michael Zarling (Ariana), Joshua Smith and Angela Wehrs; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Joshua, Hope Bump, Andrew Coulson, Aubrey, Chloe and Ella Ramsey.
