We are sad to announce that, on June 20, 2020, at the age of 85, Ronald H. Werner of Rochester, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Werner and Florence Werner; his brother Jerry; his former wife Heather; his children, Lance, Brett Werner, Jessica Murdock (Benjamin) and Michael Werner; his great grandchild Alexandra; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Owen and Cassandra; his wife Karen Maeder; his stepchildren, Mary St Marie (Tom), Ted Maeder (Lisa) and Michelle Maeder-Hickey (Lonny); his grandchildren, Isaac, Katy, Lindsey, Carley, Eric and Kyle; and his friends, Craig Sheets and Scott Sherden.

Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota or sent to the family with a designation to the John Marshall Track and Field Team.

“Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort and strength. Ron was my mentor and coach during Jr. and Sr. High School. I ran Cross Country and Track from 1974 to 1978. We won the Big 9 conference 5 years in a row during this time. Lots of memories with him - listening to the Beach Boys while riding in his station wagon to a CC race, always drinking tea from his thermos bottle, get together at his home and listen to the jukebox he had won, and pop & treats after the meet.”
