It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley M. Sindelar in Rochester, Minnesota, born in Sturgis, South Dakota, who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Selmer Fors and Gladys Fors (Olson); her husband Van Sindelar; and her great grandchild Will. She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Sandra), David (Diana) and Kenneth (JoAnn); her grandchildren, Jeremy (Sarah), Justin (Molly), Jennifer Custer (Andi), Sarah Snell (Nathan), Amy Dahl (Sam), Luke (Abby), Matthew (Dianna), Sam and Rachel (Gradyn Dowling); and her great grandchildren, Joel, Vivian, Ivan Sindelar, Zeke, Isla Sindelar, Eleanor, Jake Custer, Isaiah, Ezra Snell, Talia, Zylah, Azariah Dahl, Edwin and June Sindelar.
Shirley requests that all memorials be given to Adunarea Sperante Vie (Church of Living Hope) in Pitesti, Romania.
