He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Sween and Elisa Sween (Severson); his son Scott; and his brothers, Harold Sween (Vikings) and Donald Sween.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven Sween (Mary Castner) of Rochester and Todd Sween (Melisa) of Bend, OR; and his grandchildren, Deirdre Salmon (Jimmy), Seth Sween and T. J. Sween.
