He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Grabau and Olive Grabau. He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Meir); his children, Jill Shepard of Jacksonville, NC and Jeff Grabau (Kaiya) of Mondovi, WI; his stepdaughter Sue Bender (Rob) of Rochester, MN; and his grandchildren, AnnMarie, Jacob Shepard, Elizabeth Grabau, Catherine, Patrick Winter, Liliana and Cecilja Triviski.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the Zumbro Lutheran Church music department or the family.
