He was predeceased by: his parents, Bette Peters (Matz) and Vernon Peters; his grandparents, Angeline, Roland Matz and Stella; and his great-niece Shaylee Rae Stollenwerk.

He is survived by: his sons, Justin (Karen) and Travis (Jen); his grandchildren, Braden Cox, Fin, Henry, Azley and Jace Peters; his sisters, Shayla Hagen and Cindy Peters; his niece Jennifer; and his nephews, Paul and Guy. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.
