He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Buske and Velma Buske. He is survived by: his wife Lori Dostal; his children, Katina Gougeon (Franck) and Ryan Dostal (Kristina); and his brothers, Charles Buske (Margaret) and James Buske (Twanna). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
