He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sherry; his sons, Peter (Brenda) and Michael (Joanne); his grandchildren, Katie, Mason, Emma and Hannah; and his parents, Thomas Lawrence and Leora Lawrence. He was also cherished by his granddaughters and sporting events for his grandson.

“I hope I am remembered as Tom will be when I pass. He was a good, kind, caring, helpful and compassionate man. He coached my son in soccer and was kind and patient. My son was a student at RCLS and the school could not find a soccer coach. I contacted Tom and he agreed to coach! When my son was trying to pass his soccer referee exam and was struggling, Tom came to our house to help him. I cannot thank Tom enough for the kindness he showed our family. I am so very sorry for the family,”
