He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Fitzgerald and Irene Fitzgerald (Bevins); his siblings, Mary Chapman and Tom Fitzgerald; and his grandson Marty McGinley.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sedam; and his children, Arlene Smith, Diana Hinrichs, Kathryn Fitzgerald, Rich Fitzgerald (Deb), Lee Fitzgerald (Sally) and Karen Fitzgerald-Everson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
