He is survived by: his grandfathers, Dave Holtan, Sr. and Al Fern; his parents, Dan Holtan (Shelli) and Michele Holtan (John); his daughter Skye Holtan; his siblings, Drew James Holtan (Tanya), Jacob Staub (Autumn), Andrew Staub and Colby Staub; his partner Andrea Niesen; and his aunts and uncles, David, Jr. Holtan (Karen), Lisa Hatcher (Lon), Lori Barker (Randy) and Al Fern, Jr..
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family for a trust to be established in Skye's name.
