He is survived by: his wife Vera Sipe; his children, Calvin Heins (Linda), Cheryl Lee (Al) and Russell Heins (Denice); his sister Audrey Bistodeau (Dennis); his sister-in-law Beverly Heins; and his cousin Dean Dixon. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
