He is survived by: his former wife Gayle Roesler; his daughters, Brenda (John), Kristina, Samantha, Jessica (Tim) and Sarah Self (A. J.); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Joshua, Nickolas, Noah, Jordan, Tommy, Lincoln and Jameson; his great grandchildren, Belle and Benito; his brothers, Lewis Jr. "Butch" Sheets (Betty), Kenny Sheets and Bruce Sheets; and his brother-in-law Charles Benson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Sharing the Peterson Chapel – Buffalo.
