He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally Killion and Otto Essington; and his stepfather Leonard Killion. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Des Marais; his sons, Philip (Luda), Alex, Benjamin (Janeth) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Lev and Mila; his siblings, Lisa (Joseph), Lori (Lynn), Brenda (Monty) and Mike (Misty); and his stepmother Pam Essington. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church (21304 Main St, Rogers, MN 55374). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Saint Walburga Cemetery (12025 Fletcher Ln, Osseo, MN 55311).
In lieu of flowers or memorials, donations are preferred to Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Rogers, and the National Kidney Foundation, at kidney.org.
