He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Maguire and Peggy Maguire; and his brothers, Robert Maguire, Edward Maguire and Joseph Maguire.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Maguire; his sons, Travis (Class) of Fort Dodge, Todd Maguire (Jamie) of Waukee and Lance Maguire (Miranda) of Rogers, Minnesota.; and his siblings, Michael Maguire, Mary Husske (Curt), Berdie Nelson (Vyron), Bill Maguire (Jean), Mark Maguire, Michelle Osbloom, Kathy Forsythe (Brian) and Linda Ball (Bill).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
