Steven L. Nylund Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven L. Nylund in Rogers, Minnesota, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Nylund and Shirley R. Nylund; and his brother Donovan Nylund. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Jennifer Surla (Joe) of Minneapolis and Jaclyn Miller (Brian) of Plymouth, MN; his grandchildren, Adam, Juliana, Katie Miller, Carrie and Benjamin Surla; his siblings, Julie Cadalbert Nylund of Otsego, MN and Jeff Nylund (Terri) of Otsego, MN; his niece Rachel Turkowski (Eric); and his nephew Jacob Nylund.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the U.S. Coast Guard Alumni Association (class of '74).
