He is survived by: his former wife Lois Jean Franks; his children, David Smith (Dawn), Jerry Smith (LeAnn), Steven Smith and Tammy Wilmer (Dan); and his spouse Bethel Friesner. He is also survived by his children, twelve grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
