He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Richardson and Regena "Sally" Richardson (Brown); and his mother-in-law Colleen Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Kim Kathleen Asp (Nelson) of Rose Creek; his daughter Emily Wehner (Garrett) of Adams; his grandchildren, Atreus and Cyrus Wehner of Adams; his siblings, Cathy Mickelson (David) of Lehigh, Kevin Richardson (Shannon) of Estherville, Kirk Richardson (Susan) of Fort Calhoun and Dawn Bissen (Kim) of Adams; and his stepdaughter Rebecca Wright (Asp) of Lake City. He is also survived by many in-laws, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home - Austin (1801 4th St NW, Austin, MN 55912). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
