She was predeceased by: her parents, John Torgerson and Clara Torgerson (Winzenried); her siblings, Robert Torgerson, Joan Ball (Torgerson) and Jean Puttbrese (Torgerson); and her son-in-law Berry Haugen.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Forbister (Bill); her children, Carla Haugen of Badger, Brenda Olson (Roger Sherman) of Roseau, Ron Forbister (Bonnie) of Clackamas, Oregon and Linda Forbister (Tim Swanson); and her siblings, Sam Torgerson of Roseau and Sally Torgerson of Roseau. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
