Darryl John Schmitt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darryl John Schmitt of Rosemount, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Schmitt and Norma Schmitt; his grandparents, Arthur and Winnifred Farley; and his brother-in-law Michael Growette.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Growette; his children, Corey John Schmitt, Anthony Jared Schmitt and Megan Marie Schmitt; his siblings, Diana Richardson (Dan) and Ron Schmitt (Mignonne); his parents-in-law, Michael and Geraldine Growette; and his sister-in-law Jessica Growette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Saint Thomas Becket (4455 S Robert Trail, Eagan, MN 55123).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
