She was predeceased by: her husband Bernie; her son James; her grandson Peter; her parents, Ernest Strehlow and Frieda Strehlow; and her sister Harriet Diem.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie Borash (Debbie Haugrud), Dale Borash (Kitty), Cindy Lynch (Keith) and Paul Borash; her grandchildren, Megan Borash, Breanna Evangelist (Nick), Stephanie Strobheen (Gary), Caitlin Tvrdik (Jeremy), Ryan Lynch (Sara), Darcy Hedeen (Jason), Matthew Borash (Sydney) and Benjamin Borash; and her brother Mike Strehlow (Laurie). She is also survived by many great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
