He was predeceased by : his wife Joan Bernt (O'Brien); his parents, Julius and Margaret; and his granddaughter Jordan Bernt. He is survived by : his children, Mary Mischke (Mike) and Michael Bernt (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Bryan, Claudia Mischke and Jayden Bernt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law, and many other relatives and friends.
