He was predeceased by: his wife Dianne; his parents, John Peterson and Laura (Leon "Chief" Kiogima); and his siblings, Richard and Carol.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Halgrimson, LaVonne Ruebel (Mark), Alan Peterson (Kriss) and Kristy Crear (Rich). He is also survived by grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; also by many other relatives and friends.
