He was predeceased by: his wife Carrie; his parents, Donald Werner and Emma Werner; his sister Jolene (Art Marketon); and his brother-in-law Frank Wood.

He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Breczinski (Dean) and Mary Wood. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
