He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Esler and Marie Esler; and his siblings, Kathleen Aufderhar (Glen) and Roland "Bud" Esler (Nova). He is survived by: his wife Gerry; his brother Gary Esler (Sue) of Hastings; and his sister-in-law Patricia Margette of Roseville. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends.
