With sadness, we share the passing of Joan Marie Derks (Roseville, Minnesota). Joan, born on July 22, 1957, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Derks; and her parents, Leo Fangel and Helen Fangel. She is survived by: her siblings, Greg Fangel (Liz Wagner), Barb Fangel, Steve Fangel (Colleen Libhardt), Patti Welter and Kathy Cahalan; her nieces and nephews, Jeremiah Welter, Joe Falkowski (Melynda), Shayne Cahalan, Danielle Falkowski (Steve Williams), Tony Fangel, Keeli Cahalan, Shelly Willey (Jesse) and Gina Fangel; her stepdaughter Jodie L Derks-Boston; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Derks (Diane) and Larry Derks (Jackie).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rosetown Legion Post 542 (700 County Rd C West, Roseville, MN 55113).
