He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Haney (Parker); his son David Haney; and his parents, John F. Haney Sr. and Mary Haney. He is survived by: his children, Kate Wittenberg, Mary Bidon and Paul Haney (Mona); his grandchildren, Grace (Barry), Alexandra (Aaron), Abigail, Auston (Samantha), Logan, Jon Sanz (Amanda), Matt (Laci) and Erin (Robert); and his great grandchildren, June, Boden, Lottie, Greyson, Carson, Owen, Easton, Alison and Andrew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Heights Lutheran Church (2701 Rice St, Roseville, MN 55113). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
