She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland McDowell and Clarice McDowell (Hemple); her husband Alvin Evers; her brothers, Norman, Carroll and Dale McDowell; and her close friend Lucy Stucke.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roxanne Shoeberg (Kevin) of Stillwater and Heather Yost (Douglas) of Shoreview; her grandchildren, Alexander Shoeberg (Samantha), Jacqueline Shoeberg, Gavin Yost, Gabrielle Yost and Genevieve Yost; and her great grandchildren, Sydney and Brooklyn Shoeberg.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (100 Church St, Marshall, MN 56258). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Marshall Cemetery (600 N Bruce St, Marshall, MN 56258). A reception was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (100 Church St, Marshall, MN 56258).
