It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin S. Tollefson of Roseville, Minnesota, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Martin farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Martin is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunnuf Tollefson and Bertha Tollefson; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; and his children, Beth Cregan, Kari Krengel (Steve) and Ross Tollefson (Beth). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family requests that donations be considered to the organization that was a primary focus of Martin's volunteer work and has made Martin and Mary Ellen's past year an exceptional one, the Lyngblomsten Foundation.
