He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Belland; his wife Antoinette (Toni); his son Robert Gerard "Bobby"; and his siblings, Bernice, Larry, Richard, Jim, Walter and George.
He is survived by: his mother Louise Belland (Longtin); his children, David Belland, John Belland, Sr., Mary Dolores, Donna Trent (Richard), Jerry Belland (Jeanne) and Patrick Belland (Tonsha); his grandchildren, Andrew, Sara, Laura, Mikaela, Blake and Jennifer; and his great grandchildren, Quincy, Addison, Hayden, Felix, Cora, Teagan and Lilian.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (380 Little Canada Rd E, Little Canada, MN 55117).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered in the form of stipends for Holy Masses for Bob, or donations to the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary. Little Canada Road, Little Canada.
