She was predeceased by: her parents, William Turner and Marietta Turner (Adams); her brother Richard Turner; and her stepsons, Kerry Whelan, Michael Whelan and Marty Whelan.
She is survived by: her husband Arvin Whelan; her daughter Leigh Babler; her brother Robert Turner (Elaine); her stepchildren, Patrick Whelan and Pam Roberts (Jerry); her grandchildren, Melanie Costner (Ike), Dallas Roberts (Diane) and Lacy Roberts; and her great grandchildren, Abigail, Alexis, Allison, Emma and Jacob.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodmen Valley Chapel – Rockrimmon Campus (290 E Woodmen Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80919).
