It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Michael Drinane of Roseville, Minnesota, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine G. Drinane (Fenlon) and William F. Drinane. He is survived by: his wife Sara (Bush); his children, Mike Drinane (Krista Billerbeck) and Catherine Grunseth (Christoffer Grunseth); his granddaughters, Anna, Laura Grunseth and Maeve Drinane; his brother Gerald Drinane (Val); and his brothers-in-law, William Bush (Connie) and John Bush. He is also survived by seven nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the Macalester College Pipe Band, St. Timothy Lutheran Church, or the Twin Cities Opera Guild.
