He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Larson and Navy Larson (Mattson); his wife Donna Musser; his siblings, Arvy (Laurel), Ralph, Eldon Tex (Karen), Dean Larson and Helen Ann; his daughter Jody Wilde; his son-in-law Craig Zimmerman; his grandson Christopher Grunewald; and his great grandchild Weston Grunewald.
He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Zimmerman of Rothsay, Robin Binstock (Mitch) of Dickinson, Bonny Jensen (Paul) of Wahpeton and Dawn Froslie (David) of Pelican Rapids; his son-in-law Gary Wilde of Elizabeth; his sister-in-law Barbara Larson of Knoxville, IA; his grandchildren, Curt Zimmerman, Kyle Zimmerman (Stephanie), Scott Zimmerman (Lisa), Casey Grunewald (Jessica), Cory Grunewald, Lauren Jensen (Josh Heitkamp), Launa Springer (Lee), Darrin Wilde (Kelly Graff), Shannon Bilden (Chris) and Ali Froslie; and his great grandchildren, Krista, Chelsea Zimmerman, Hollie, Stevie Zimmerman, Adyson Grunewald, Leona, Hayven Grunewald, Harper Heitkamp, Kailey Graff Wilde, Easton, Presley Wilde and Berklee Bilden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Life Lutheran Church (102 Main Ave W, Rothsay, MN 56579). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to New Life Lutheran Church in Rothsay or PioneerCare.
