He was predeceased by : his parents, John Poppen and Jane Poppen of Royalton; and his sister Pat Allen of Crystal, MN.. He is survived by : his wife Pat Poppen of Royalton; his sons, Dion Poppen (Phaedra) of Kempner, TX and Michael Poppen (Shawn) of Royalton; and his siblings, John Poppen (Donna) of Little Falls, Lyle Poppen (Dorothy) of Mesa, AZ, Sylvia Mittlesteadt (Ken) of Mesa, AZ, Sharon Sinness (Lon) of Sebring, FL and Todd Poppen (Kim) of Little Falls. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
