The passing of Carrie M. Mallinger of Rush City, Minnesota, born in Burtrum, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 99. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Rosty and Eva Rosty (Walker); her husband Myron; her daughter Myrna Fitzgerald; her sons-in-law, Gary Behrendt and Robert McCauley; her grandsons, Todd Mallinger, Shawn McCauley and Erin McCauley; and her siblings, Marjorie, Marie, Darline, Helen, Gordon and Carl.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Emeott (Dick) of Woodbury; and her children, Marie McCauley of St Charles, MO, Joan Behrendt of Rush City, Linda Heley (Roland) of Cottage Grove, Mike Mallinger (Connie) of Cottage Grove, Marcia Auge (Butch) of Frederick, WI, Mavis Hughes (Joe) of Big Lake, Milo Mallinger (Patti) of Hugo and Melvin Mallinger (Karen) of Maple Grove. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren (one more on the way!); 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (980 W 4th St, Rush City, MN 55069). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
