With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Colletta Tripp of Rushford, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil and Irene. She is survived by: her close friend Godâ; her husband James Tripp Sr.; her sisters, Colleen Kelley and Denise Hanson; her daughter Julie Barr (Tripp); her siblings, Patrick Kelley (Colleen), Michael Kelley, Bonnie Watts (Daniel), Mary Zimmerman and Donna Stoderl (Tim); and her children, Michael Tripp (Jennifer), Mark Tripp (Angie), Todd Tripp (Cheri), Matt Tripp (Diane), Sandi Brown (Kevin) and Jim Tripp (Marge). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Houston Community Center (111 W Cedar St, Houston, MN 55943).
