He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Halverson and Marie Halverson (Buross); and his in-laws, Curtiss Danielson, Don and Charlotte Danielson.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Danielson; his children, Mike Halverson (Jill), LeAnn Blake (Lenny) of Scottsdale, AZ and Karen Mierau (Chuck); his grandchildren, Zach Mierau (Marie), Alex Mierau (Andrea), Mariah Nelson (Andrew), MacKenzie Moore (Trevor) and Matt Halverson (Maria); his great grandchildren, Caden, Maycie, Lily, Paxton Mierau, Laney, Murphy Moore, Bryson, Madelyn Mierau, Josie, Ben Halverson, Aubrey and Marcus Nelson; his friend Maryellen Dean; and his in-laws, Helen Danielson, Myron and Nancy Danielson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Highland Prairie Lutheran Church, SEMCAC Meals on Wheels – Rushford, or Winona Health Hospice.
