He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Deutsch; his parents, Cyril and Isabel; his parents-in-law, Albert and Leona Deutsch; and his siblings, Gerald, Cyril Jr., Leo Thier, Mary Ann, Robert Knips, Eugene Hokeness, Harold Kruger, Jim Roemeling and Germaine Roemeling (Joni Thier).
He is survived by: his children, Kim Bullerman (Lane), Adrian, Julie Brake (Jerry), Laura Schoen (Matt), Delano, David Thier (Ann) and Jodi Kramer (James); his siblings, Virginia Knips (Robert), Eileen Hokeness (Eugene), Betty Gonnerman (Delbert), Dick Thier (Alice) and Donald Thier (Barbara); and his sisters-in-law, Deloris Kruger and Bev Thier. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
