He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Grussing and Esther Grussing (Schuldt); his wife Claribel Groenewold; his son Richard; and his sister Lily Geertsma.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Perez (Lorenzo) of Highland, CA, Mark Grussing (Paula) of Bijou Hills, SD and Kathryn Duwenhoegger (Chad); his daughter-in-law Kim Grussing; his grandchildren, Alex Perez (Nani), Nicolas Perez, Aric Perez (Chelsea), Matthew Grussing (Kaci), Tyler Grussing (Taylor), Randi Grussing, Ryann Grussing, Chase Duwenhoegger (Jazmin), Levi Duwenhoegger (Jordan), Nicole Duwenhoegger, McKenzie Duwenhoegger, Bailey Grussing, Brooke Grussing and Autumn Grussing; and his great grandchildren, Bodhi, Banks, Cru, Riggins, Sutton, Stetson, Synch, Madsen and Klara.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dingmann Funeral Home (109 7th St W, Adrian, MN 56110). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (408 11th St, Worthington, MN 56187).
