He was predeceased by : his parents, Merle Schenck and Cora Schenck (Cook); his son Doug; his former life partner Florence Loock; and his siblings, Vera Mikkelson, Milo Schenck, George Schenck, Roberta Lewis, Ellen Mortenson, MaryLou Rosenfeldt and Alton Schenck.
He is survived by : his son Arnold; his wife Irene Schenck of Sabin; his children, Duane Schenck (Shirley) of West Fargo, Diane Johnson of Mapleton, ND, Arnie Schenck (Marilyn) of Star Lake, MN, Jim Schenck (Barb) of Loon Lake, MN and Shirley Durensky (Steve) of Barnesville, MN; his daughters-in-law, Tammy Schenck of Moorhead and Deb Booth (Brad Booth) of Fargo, ND; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Counts, Kyle Schenck (Carolee), Dayna Johnson, Patrick Johnson (Tonya), Christine Kimmelman (Paul), Corey Schenck (Erin), Janessa Mason (Alex), Clayton Schenck (Lori), Beth Goebel (Ben), Shane Durensky, Sarah Roberts, Brent Durensky (Michelle), Andy Booth, Jenna Booth (Derek Dreher), Tyler Schenck (Leanna) and Reilee Schenck. He is also survived by 31 great- grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
