He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Genevieve (Genz); and his siblings, Charlie, Barry, Ione, Joyce, Linda and Mary.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Krippner; his daughters, Stacie Woods (Tony), Tonia Makarrall (Shawn), Tabitha Voigt (Lance) and April Bechthold (Shawn); his grandchildren, Myah Middendorf (Nate), Gabriella Hanson (Austin), Luke Woods, Caleb Clyne (Tabitha), Kennady Clyne, Karly Clyne, Levi Voigt, Vaughn Voigt and Arianna Bechthold; his great grandchildren, Raegan Middendorf, Runar Hanson and River Clyne; and his siblings, Gail Meyer, Tom Rausch (Gayle), Jim Rausch (Markie), Ron Rausch (Jeanne), Dave Rausch and Nancy Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
