He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Kiffmeyer (Beumer) and Norbert Kiffmeyer; his wife Joan Kunkel of Pearl Lake; his brother Duane; and his siblings-in-law, Diane, Charles Kunkel, Jim Kunkel, Mike Rosenow and Rollie Albers.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Lahr-Kieke (Kevin) of St. Cloud, Mark (Jennifer) of St. Augusta and Lori Scheper of Clearwater; his sister Renee Albers; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene, Leroy (Beatrice), Robert (Eileen), Larry (Teresa), Mark (Renee), Duane Kunkel (Linda), Deb Kunkel and Janet Kunkel. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren: 23 great-grandchildren.
