He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schaefer and Doris Schaefer; his children-in-law, Mike Bernard and Darcy Schaefer; and his parents-in-law, Manuel "Manny" and Emma Braatz.
He is survived by: his wife Cleo Schaefer; his children, Lisa Bernard and David Schaefer (Teresa); his grandchildren, Kaylie (Colton), Josh, Nate (Anna), Trenton (Alayna) and Brandon; and his siblings, Donnie Schaefer (Linda) and Maxine "Mic" Tesch (Bill).
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hoff Funeral Home (519 St Martin Ave, St Charles, MN 55972). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
