He is survived by: his wife Cleo Schaefer; his children, Lisa Bernard and David Schaefer (Teresa); his grandchildren, Kaylie (Colton), Josh, Nate (Anna), Trenton (Alayna) and Brandon; and his siblings, Donnie Schaefer (Linda) and Maxine "Mic" Tesch (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
