She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Garteski and Margaret Garteski (Mart); her siblings-in-law, Bev and Harley; and her grandson Jeremy Walters.

She is survived by : her husband Van Walters; her children, Rick (Lori), Garren (Lisa), Dion (Katherine) and Jamie (Erica); her grandchildren, Jordan Jayden (Emily), Justin, Caleb, Evan and Nathan; her great grandchild Kinley; her brother Terry Garteski (Maribeth); and her siblings-in-law, Connie Woolley (Bob) and Dan Walters (Pat).

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gloria's name, are greatly appreciated by the family and will be given to Parkinsons Foundation, Seasons Hospice or Chosen Valley Care Center.
