He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rosen and Mary Rosen (Rueter); his former wife Florence Kutz; his son Ross; and his siblings, John, Paul, Norbert, Peter Rosen, Elizabeth Baumgartner, Marie Thell, Monica Mayers, Benard and Matthew.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Dobbs (Pierskalla). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
