He was predeceased by: his mother Susan Smith Nelson (Slivnik); and his grandparents, Joe, Dorthea Slivnik and Flossie Slivnik. He is survived by: his father Andrew Smith Nelson; his aunts, DJ Slivnik and Deb Saunders; and his close friend Andrew Bollman.
