She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Serbus and Lydia Serbus (Kodet); and her husband Ben. She is survived by: her children, Steve Piasecki (Ann) of Rogers, Krista Skille (Aaron) of Sauk Rapids and Susan Cox (Matthew) of Hermantown; her grandchildren, Dan Piasecki (April), Breeya Skille, Aiden Cox and Caitlin Cox; her great grandchildren, Connor, Aubry, Carter and Mason; and her siblings, Jean McDonnell, Judy Tauer, Clare Jensen (Kirk), Mike Serbus (Donna), Therese Johnson (Joel), Kathy Lindblad (Mike), Joe Serbus (Doreen), Ann Johnson (Earl), Mary Petersen (Mike) and Paul Serbus. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Meals on Wheels or the Church of St. Mary.
