He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lolkus and Henrietta Lolkus (Bandstra); his sister Katheryne Struiksma (Dick); and his son Rory Lolkus. He is survived by: his wife Cecelia "Sis" Lolkus (Balstad); his children, Ralo Lolkus (Jennie) of Chandler, Ryan Lolkus (Tricia) of Safety Harbor, Florida and Robyn Bright (Steve) of Sartell, Minnesota; and his grandchildren, Brandon Lolkus (Emmie), Ashlee Sherrill (James), Cole Bright, Carter Bright, Keegan Lolkus and Morgan Lolkus. He is also survived by five great-grandsons.
His work included contributions to the Minuteman missile, Hound Dog missile, the XB-70 bomber, the Apollo program, and other military equipment.
