He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Lewandowski and Mary Lewandowski (Kubat); his brother Kelly; and his granddaughter Jade. He is survived by: his wife Judy Kampa; his daughters, Lisa (Brian Foss), Sherrie Chmielewski (Kevin), Brenda Dudek (Rick) and Terra Pohlkamp (Roger); his grandchildren, Danielle Boron (Tim), Blair Herm (Eric), Eric Dudek (Mackenzie), Megan Dudek, Jordan Posterick (Gabbie), Paige and Paityn Pohlkamp; his great grandchildren, Jaxson, Ellee and Cooper; and his siblings, Joyce McMains (Doug), Glen, David (Vicki), MaryAnn Worm (Roger), Rick, Debbie Gilyard (Kermit) and Colleen Corrigan (Clint).
